Transitional Haven

Transitional Haven

Goal

As repeat clients, the homeowners entrusted us with their new purchase—a full renovation of an early 1900’s home. Their top priorities were creating practical yet stylish spaces, with a focus on a functional mudroom and an inviting laundry area that could keep up with their active family life.

Process

Working hand-in-hand with the architect and the client, we designed a home that balances traditional exterior charm with a transitional interior tailored for modern living. The laundry room, an essential hub for the busy household, was thoughtfully designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In the dining room, we introduced a show-stopping high-gloss ceiling, which beautifully reflects the vibrant colors and lighting, adding an unexpected touch of drama. Throughout the home, wallpaper was strategically used to weave the color palette together, ensuring a cohesive and inviting ambiance. Blue became a recurring theme, subtly appearing in various spaces to create a harmonious flow.
