Modern Traditional Marriage
Goal
When our client purchased this beautifully renovated home, she wanted to update her furniture to better match its character. Looking to infuse her personality into the space, she aimed to create a seamless blend of her unique style with the home's historic charm.
Process
We made a custom sofa using warm-toned alpaca fabric and reupholstered existing furniture to keep within the theme. A small serving table was custom-made by our woodworker for the dining room and finished in a high-gloss green, which pulled the room together beautifully alongside new dining chairs. This period home from the 1800s has been beautifully restored with a mid-century nod.
