Cozy Farmhouse
Goal
Our client dreamed of a home that embodied the warmth and charm of an 1800s farmhouse, despite it being a newer build. The challenge was to seamlessly blend vintage charm with modern comfort while ensuring practical functionality for everyday living.
Process
ACK partnered with the architect and a specialized kitchen design firm to transform the kitchen and living spaces. To achieve this timeless aesthetic, we thoughtfully incorporated a blend of natural materials such as reclaimed wood and handpicked stone. A key focal point for the client was the fireplace, which we designed as a striking centerpiece with a grand stone facade and integrated wood storage. The use of antique furniture and cherished heirlooms, thoughtfully combined with modern elements, brought warmth and character to the home. The result is a perfect balance of old-world charm and contemporary convenience, where every detail tells a story.
