This beloved colonial home, purchased in the early 2000s, was the backdrop for a growing family. As their children moved out and the idea of downsizing loomed, the arrival of their first grandchild reignited their love for the home. Instead of moving, they decided to update the space to better suit their evolving needs, turning what began as a refresh into a full-scale renovation.
The homeowners teamed up with their original builder, Joe Lorano, and architect Rex Gedney of Crozier Gedney Architects to bring their vision to life. ACK played a pivotal role in transforming their ideas into a cohesive, family-friendly design. The collaboration was seamless, with open communication and a shared goal of creating a beautiful yet practical home. While the basic layout remained, walls were opened up to improve flow, and every space was reimagined with a mix of soft tones and vibrant accents. Durable, family-friendly fabrics and thoughtful design choices ensured the home remained both stylish and functional, perfectly suited to welcome a new generation.
